SIMONDS OUTDOOR CLASSROOM 1976
This article appeared in the July 1976 Sunset Magazine. The children of Simonds Elementary School, their parents, and members of the Almaden Valley Rotary Club built this outdoor classroom-amphitheater. The project took six weekends to complete. Paul Uenaka is seen driving in the final stake for the trees that will shade the stage.
